Brown and Holmes specialises in the design and manufacture of superior quality work holding solutions, producing 3D printed prototypes and delivering both precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions.
Founded in 1939, when two draughtsmen from Coventry went into business together, we are now celebrating over 80 years in business and are based across two sites in Tamworth, UK.
Our first site on Apollo Park contains a wide range of traditional machinery from which offer high quality workholding, automation, mechanical handling and precision machining services. Our capacity list includes 5 axis machines, CNC machines, horizontals, verticals, EDMs, grinding machines and lathes.
We have 58 employees, 9 of which are Design engineers plus a training Centre with 5 apprentices.
Our export orders have increased steadily over the years supplying and installing work holding solutions all over the world.
We work in a wide range of materials including Aluminium, mild and stainless steels and Titanium.
Our sister site has a full Techman Robot demonstration area, a dedicated assembly, test and inspection facility plus equipment to provide specialist 10 tonne lifting capabilities. It also houses our own Apprenticeship training centre and 3D printers.
